From within TUTOS there is a good user interface to do daily administration tasks. Getting there is alos easy. First you click on the 'admin' menu option in the lower left part of the menu (this option is only available to users who have the admin access right set in their userprofile). This will bring you to a screen similar to the one in the next picture.
The admin screen
The admin screen will show you the totals in the individual tables so you can keep an eye on the growth of the database. Also there is a list at the bottom with all the known users. Clicking on their loginname (and not their real name) will bring you to the page where their user access rights are set. The same screen you saw earlier during initial setup when you were adding users.
Since TUTOS has an invoice module there is a way for the administrator to enter VAT percentages. Since there are countries where certain products fall under separate VAT categories it is possible to enter them into the system. Go to the database setup page in TUTOS and enter a list of VAT percentages separated by spaces. Customizing this is relatively simple. At the top of the main admin screen you see a link with the database name (in our case 'tutos_doc'. Clicking there will bring up a screen similar to the one in the next picture.
The database details screen
As you can see, there is a menu option called 'modify'. Clicking on that one will bring up a screen where we can change bits of information (see next picture).
The modify database details screen
Here you can enter additional information crucial for the correct functioning of TUTOS.
