12.3. Statistics

When you look at the list of timetracks you will notice the small 'statistics' menu item in the upper left part of the menu. Clicking on this option will present as small statistic overview like the one you see in the next picture.

As you can see it is a nice picture but is also pretty meaningless. Why is the right column green? What are the meanings of these columns? Well, a computer is like a garbage bin. If you put garbage in, you get garbage out. It is much smarter to add timetracks to tasks since they also have an estimated amount of time needed. So our next exercise is adding some timetracks to some of the tasks we have defined already. Unfortunately TUTOS does not currently do some of this fancy consolidation stuff but rest assured that wont be for long. Still, don't forget that the number of workhours is correctly reflected in the task overview screen and Gantt diagram.
